It is definitely not smart enough to know when it has a hub printable DVD or a regular size center hole and I suppose the printer is smart enough to know it is in DVD mode and not to spray on the hub or the corners as part of its internal print engine. The outside corners are especially a problemīecause the DVD Tray has indexing marks that tell the printer where to line up. My biggest fear is that Publisher will tell the printer that the "paper" is solid in the center and on the outside corners whereas the disc has a hole and an outer boundary that should not get ink sprayed on them. I did download 10256453.pub and it looks like a small hole but it has lots of text and graphics. I don't see how to set the inside diameter to the small hole size of the hub I just want to be able to print to my hub-printable DVD. I looked for a template for my Publisher 2013 but found some older templates. I have done this many times with my old Epson Printer with their software,īut my old Epson is dying and I wanted to try the Publisher to HP solution. The HP forum says it is super easy to use Publisher to create a DVD label and print it on a printable dvd. I have a HP c309a all-in-one printer that can print on DVDs directly.
